Listen to a spectacular 18th century organ with Baroque wood-carvings by F. I. Weise which has rare historical value. It is the biggest classical organ in Prague with 3500 reed-pipes. Look forward to a unique acoustic quality.

Immerse yourself into the winding streets of the Old Town and enjoy one of the great Prague classical concerts at a beautiful Gothic church re-built into Baroque with one of the biggest organ in Prague! At St. Giles Church you can enjoy mainly organ and chamber concerts.

St. Giles Church built in the 14th century as a cathedral was temporarily an Utrakvists church until 1626 when it was donated to the Dominican order. The Dominicans built up a large convent, in which the order has been operating until today.

The interior of St. Giles Church features artistically valuable Baroque altars, beautiful preserved confessionals and a unique organ with 50 registers, 3 manuals and 3500 pipes from 1733. The famous Baroque painter V. V. Reiner is buried here. Apart from its spiritual role, the church serves as a cultural center presenting popular concerts of classical and sacred music.

je n'avais pas choisi cet ensemble musical mais, sur internet, celui qui annonçait 2 trompètes et un orgue. J'ai été surpris du changement mais j'ai beaucoup apprécié. Merci à vous

Nádherná hudba v prostředí chrámu s dokonalou zvukovou akustikou, funkční a překrásně znějící varhany z roku 1773 a skvělá interpretace Prof.Popelky, stejně tak jako mistrovství houslisty Jakuba Jánského. Ojedinělý hudební, estetický a duchovní zážitek.
