Prague black light theatre Ta Fantastika is non-verbal spectacle of pantomime, dance and shadow theatre

Aspects of Alice is a classic black light theatre performance, based on the motive of "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll which has been performed more than 7,000 times all over the world and has won hearts of audiences in over thirty countries on three continents for its imagination, poetry and technical wizardry.

The show is not a literal adaptation for the stage but it takes up the story where Alice ceases to be a little girl. This amazing performance takes place on the background of Old Prague. Prague Black light theatre Ta Fantastika is non-verbal spectacles of pantomime, dance and shadow theatre, a unique Czech form of art theatre suitable also for families with children.

Creative direction, large-scale projections and animated film made especially for this production, puppets, amazing tricks and black light theatre special effects, exciting contemporary music alongside with classical music by Bedrich Smetana (My Fatherland) and Antonín Dvorak (The Slavonic Dances) blending with your own fantasy - all this and more makes for an incredible theatrical experience you won't see on any other stage.

Important:

Before the performance and during intermission, the theatre bar is open and there is live piano music in the foyer of the theatre. Also on sale in the foyer are various memorabilia of the performance.
The theatre opens 30 minutes before each performance.
We recommend to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the performance.
One 15-minute intermission

A unique performance on the theme of Alice in Wonderland

Let yourself be enchanted by the unique poetry of the renowned Ta Fantastika Theatre and its performance Aspects of Alice! Ta Fantastika black light theatre is located two minutes from the Prague important historical monument - Charles Bridge. Since its beginning in the 1980s, the theatre has worked with the best actors to create dramatic situations and poetic moments of the local black light theatre scene.

It has pioneered the use of unique and patented technical tricks such as actors flying in front of audience’s eyes, and use e.g. large-screen projections combined with live performance and larger-than-life puppets. There is also an emphasis on visual creativity and the integration of live music and singing.

In Ta Fantastika Theatre you have the chance to see " Aspects of Alice", a classical black light performance based on the motifs of “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, which has won the hearts of audiences in over thirty countries on three continents for its imaginativness and technical wizardry.

Spectacle pas du tout à la hauteur du prix ! Nous sommes partis avant la fin ... Un peu l'impression d etre un Aattrape touriste .

It was a totally new and amazing performance for me, the technic they use to develop all the history is fantastic!! The story itself was very good, and the actors very professional.

This was and interesting and unique experience for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed a new art form that combined clever trickery with technology and dramatic art.

Fantastic show. The story was very nice and funny. The actors did amazing job in a type of theatre that is quite difficult! In the end they showed us how it is done, which was very interesting! Totally recommended!

Animation distrayante. Les acteurs sont très bons et gentils, Nous sommes montés sur scène ma compagne et moi et cela nous fait donc un magnifique souvenir. Nous nous attendions cependant à quelque chose de plus « spectaculaire ». Il faut simplement préparer son esprit à être dans l’originalité.

What an exemplary show! We are so happy we were able to see the Black Light Theatre production of Aspects of Alice. It was different, exciting, and fun. The fact that the cast members interacted with the audience and brought children up on the stage was great. The seats were comfortable. All in all, it was an experience not to be missed.

I went to a black light theatre show at the recommendation of a friend. It didn´t dissapointed me. It was an excellent show! The actors are amazing, as well as the whole scenario created. It was really a pleasant evening.
